Jerome Adams

Jerome has joined our team as a Corporate Banking Specialist working with new accounts. Jerome has been in the banking industry since 2006 with experience as a teller and a loan processor for various commercial banks in the Colorado Springs area. He has excellent customer service skills and is an effective communicator. Jerome plans on learning as much as possible in his current role and growing with Metro Phoenix Bank. Jerome is a graduate of Widefield High School of Colorado Springs, CO. He recently moved to Phoenix to live closer to his fiancé and begin his future here in the valley. Jerome is also a proud sponsor of "Breakaway"- a drug and alcohol deliverance program.

Trecia Armijo

Trecia is our HOA Project Manager. Trecia joined us from another local commercial bank in November of 2006. There she specialized in their Retail Branch, Operations Department, HOA Division and Treasury Management for over five years - her common denominator, "excellent" customer service. Trecia has a very diverse background and experience focusing on customer service, team management and strong organizational skills. Before moving to Phoenix in 2001 she lived in the White Mountains and worked as a Customer Service Administrator for Cellular One; Trecia also was a Distribution Technician for Citizens Utilities for over 11 years. Trecia has received extensive training focusing her goals on management along with Microsoft and specialized computer classes for various positions. Trecia enjoys spending time with her three children and nine grandchildren.

Kelli Bader

Kelli has been with Metro Phoenix since inception and is an AVP, Loan Operations Manager. She has maintained a professional relationship with Steve Haggard since 1999. She has experience working with De Novo banks and helped create a successful loan department for another local commercial bank; focusing on procedures, reports, building programs and hiring a strong staff. Kelli has a total of over eight years in the commercial loan industry and has had a successful career working for various institutions; having had the opportunity to work with vendors, management and great employees. She is a native to Arizona and graduated from Mountain View High School and is currently attending Mesa Community College. Kelli is an excellent cook and wine connoisseur; she spends her free time searching for new and interesting recipes to share with her friends, husband, and two children.

Anthony Bodnar

Anthony joined Metro Phoenix Bank and is working in the Lending Department as a Loan Operations Specialist. He has been successful working in the banking industry since 1997 with other commercial lending organizations. Anthony has specialized in loan processing, underwriting, closing, marketing as well as handling all managerial duties for new offices. Anthony has experience in vendor selection, training new employees and accounts payable. Anthony is a graduate of University of Arizona with a B.S. in Business Administration; he has also received his Associate Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Anthony spends the majority of his free time with his wife and their children.

Greg Bullock

Greg is our VP, I.T. Manager. A native to Arizona, Greg began his career in Information Technology as a System Administrator with a local computer services company. He provided technical support from the ground up along with performing on site diagnosis and repair of network systems and software. Over the last ten years Greg's accomplishments and responsibilities have continued to grow; he has planned, purchased, configured, repaired and supported workstations, servers, networks and WAN Equipment for several companies including a commercial bank. Greg has assisted with reports, audits, and certifications and improving accuracy within technology and employee efficiency. Greg has supervised several employees and has maintained a good working relationship with them. He has also acted as a liaison to facilitate communication between IT and other divisions as well as external clients. He is accustomed to and works well in dynamic and stressful situations. Greg received his B.S. in Economics at ASU and lives in the East Valley with his wife, their two children and a growing number of animals.

Linda Burgett

Linda joined Metro Phoenix Bank as on of our Business Development Representatives, working for our Treasury Management Department. Linda has a solid background in sales and account management with a proven record of success, reflecting the ability to establish strong working rapport with key personnel. Linda has progressive experience in developing, managing and growing a territory with a focus on increasing sales while providing high quality customer service. She is a self starter and top performer. Linda is joining our team after a long relationship as a Commercial Sales Consultant for a local company servicing commercial customers. She is a persuasive communicator with well developed presentation and negotiation skills; Linda strives to have productive relationships with colleagues, customers and staff at all levels. Linda received her Associates of Applied Science with honors at the State University of New York; she lives in the west valley with her family.

Jo Ann Clark

Jo Ann has joined us as a Corporate Banking Specialist. Jo Ann has a diverse background in the mortgage industry and administrative support roles. Having relocated from Bakersfield California she has recently been working with the Dysart Unified School District as a Substitute Teacher. Jo Ann's mortgage background provided her the opportunity to focus her skills working with the Home Equity Programs and assisting with the necessary documentation. Jo Ann has also worked as a Closer and acted as a staff liaison between the Escrow, Title and Mortgage Company. She has fantastic organizational skills and is proficient in Microsoft Office, ten key, data entry, dictation and operating a switchboard with professionalism and efficiency. Jo Ann has a strong presence and has great customer service skills and enjoys interacting with customers, team members and directors. Jo Ann is a graduate of California State University of Bakersfield with a BA in History and Physical Education. She spends her free time with her family and enjoying Arizona.

Ashley Conne

Ashley is our Operations Manager. She joined Metro Phoenix Bank from another local commercial bank. She started her career in banking as a Customer Service Representative in 2001 in Coralville Iowa and has continued to expand her career and knowledge as a Teller, Account Relationship Manager, Implementation Manager, and a Treasury Management Customer Service Specialist. Ashley is a highly organized team member and will be one of our first points of contact for future customers since she will be opening accounts. Her organizational skills and great people skills will be sure to leave our customers with a positive banking experience. She continues her studies in Interior Design at Mesa Community College and frequently travels with her husband to new and exciting destinations. Ashley is also a season ticket holder with the Phoenix Suns.

Allena Embry

Allena joined Metro Phoenix Bank as a Business Development Officer in our Treasury Management Division.  She comes to us with extensive banking knowledge and experience in treasury management, business banking, merchant services, and private banking. She began her career in finance in 1988 in Columbus, Ohio and relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 2004.

Allena reconizes the needs of small to mid size businesses and is committed to creative problem solving and providing excellent customer service.

Allena is from Chillicothe, Ohio and has successfully completed courses in business management, computer applications and business communication at the Columbus Community College and Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. SHe is an active member in her local community and stays busy doing volunteer work, entertaining friends and, when time permits, ballroom dancing.

Michael Harris

Michael is an AVP, Commercial Loan Officer with Metro Phoenix Bank. Michael has been working in the financial industry since 1997, focusing the last three years working for various commercial banks in the Phoenix area. Michael has experience as a SBA loan officer generating small business loans and underwriting potential loans. He also has business development experience which include visiting sites, term negotiation and acting as point of contact for potential borrowers. Michael most recently worked as a commercial credit analyst for a local commercial bank underwriting commercial loans within company policy. This position allowed him the opportunity to expand his knowledge and experience analyzing potential borrowers and guarantor’s financials, assess and mitigate risks involved with extending credit, perform annual reviews of existing loan files and work with executive management with monthly ALLL reports. Michael is currently working towards his B.A. in Philosophy at Arizona State University and spends the majority of his free time with his family.

Carrie Ledesma

Carrie is the Executive Assistant to our President and CEO Steve Haggard. She has been in banking since 2001, obtaining experience and applying her excellent customer service skills as a Teller, Ops Specialist, HOA Relationship Manager and as an Executive Assistant with another local commercial bank. Carrie has extensive experience with business clients and effectively managed over $90MM in HOA business accounts with professionalism and consistency. She has received training for private databases along with MS Office and other various administration tools. She has strong organizational skills and experience working with Federal Regulators and auditors, collecting and maintaining SAS70's, managing employee files, and assisting in annual reviews and strategic planning. Carrie is a former member of the USAF; she is an artist at heart and enjoys painting, reading, her family and her dogs.

Matt McLaughlin

Matt joined our team as a VP Commercial Lender in October of 2007. His previous financial experience began with Bank One in 1995 making commercial real estate construction and bridge loans to national and regional development companies. Between 1997 and 2000 Matt worked for a large Phoenix-based real estate development company with responsibility for a portfolio of retail and office buildings totaling in excess of 1,000,000 square feet in Arizona and Canada. In 1998, Matt founded his own company (Gallatin Corporation) to invest in the development and management of residential master-planned communities, retail shopping centers, hotel, apartment, condominium and office projects in Arizona, California, and Nevada. From 2002 thru 2006 Mr. McLaughlin was responsible for the finance and transactional functions of a $1 billion asset real estate company which entitled, developed and sold approximately 5,000 home lots per year. He was instrumental in the start-up of Scottsdale-based production homebuilder Elite Communities and managed its land acquisition and finance departments thru achieving 500 home closings at year-end 2005. Matt holds a B.S. in Finance and Minor in Economics from the University of Montana and an M.B.A. from The Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Mary Myron

Mary joined Metro Phoenix Bank as a Loan Operations Specialist. She began her career in banking as a Loan Processor for Mortgage Company in 1990 located in Tempe, Arizona. Mary quickly learned the necessary skills as a Closer, Shipper and Insurer and moved on to work for several other financial companies as a Senior Loan Processor and Mortgage Underwriter. She performed comprehensive analysis of all credit documents including appraisals, credit reports, and income and asset documents to meet specific requirements. She trained new personnel, processed and underwrote loans for a high volume of loan offers and maintained builder accounts including Maracay Homes, Elliot Homes, Fulton Homes and Diamond Key Homes. Mary's most recent position found her supporting four branches while maintaining a 24 - 48 hour turn around time. She prides herself on her organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new skills and concepts. Mary is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor's of Science. She is a fitness enthusiast; spending her free time raising her two teenage sons, playing with her favorite pooch and hiking with her parents.

Mary Ong

Mary is an AVP, Senior Credit Analyst with Metro Phoenix Bank. Mary’s banking career spans over 25 years and several different banks. She started as a teller in Tucson while attending the University of Arizona. After graduating with a degree in accounting, she relocated to Phoenix as a credit analyst, where she also completed a formal credit training program that provided her with the foundation for her underwriting expertise. Mary’s underwriting background is diverse, and includes commercial real estate, production home builders, asset based lines of credit, equipment loans, and consumer loans. Mary has also been a commercial loan officer and workout loan officer (criticized and classified credits). Mary looks at each loan package like putting together a puzzle made up of financial information, collateral, and other “puzzle pieces.” Mary’s credit philosophy: “We need to figure out a way to serve each client and maintain our high credit quality standards.” Mary is a huge “Wildcat” fan and loves living in the Valley of the Sun!

Laura Otero

Laura has eagerly taken the role of our VP of Treasury Management. She began her career in banking in 1990, as a senior teller and personal banker with a large money center bank. She quickly expanded her skill set to include new business solicitation, consumer lending, and selling additional services to clients to meet their banking needs. Laura gained experience in an operational role as a branch manager with Johnson Bank which also gave her experience of training new employees as well as implementing programs for new hires. Over the last several years Laura has focused on commercial lending and cash management services. She maintains high performance levels for herself and her employees and has consistently exceeded quarterly goals as the top salesperson each quarter without compromising excellent customer service. Laura has graduated from America Bankers Association Commercial Lending, has a Bachelor's in Social Work from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Scottsdale Community College. Laura spends the majority of her free time working as a full time mom to her three small children.

Rickard "Rico" Strom

Rico joined our team as a VP, Commercial Loan Officer. He started his career in the financial industry in 2000, with New England Financial in Boise Idaho as a Financial Representative; focusing on helping clients maximize their net worth using insurance and security products. He gained experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst and moved on to becoming a Commercial Loan Officer with another local commercial bank. Rico was successful in producing and managing a $35MM commercial loan portfolio including revolving lines of credit, term loans, and commercial real estate and construction loans. He is focused on excellent customer service and meeting the needs the new clients of Metro Phoenix Bank. A native of Sweden, Rico obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance at Boise State University. He is multilingual and enjoys Arizona with his college sweetheart Judy and their two sons.

Eve Tz inias

Eve is one of Metro Phoenix Bank's Credit Analysts for Metro Phoenix Bank. She is a graduate from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in English, Computer Science and Communication. She also is planning to attend Thunderbird University to pursue an MBA beginning January 2008. She has spent the majority of her career working in Tucson Arizona and has many years of financial experience within the commercial and retail banking industry. She also held a position as Technical Writer with Honeywell Aerospace that allowed her to author, edit, process and publish a variety of documents including internal and external publications for the U.S. Army, FAA, and other domestic and international aircraft customers. Eve thrives in all environments; she is highly motivated and works well as an individual and as a team member. Eve enjoys being challenged as she develops skills in her profession and has a terrific personality and makes a great addition to our team.

Monica Valles

Monica Valles is Metro Phoenix Bank’s Commercial Real Estate BDR servicing the southwest, focusing on Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. Monica has been in banking for over two years, specializing in commercial secondary market lending with a diverse underwriting background and creative loan structuring. Monica is a motivated team player, acting as an interpreter for Spanish speaking clients, and demonstrates excellent customer service and support skills. Monica resides with her family in Sugar Land Texas.

Jamie Witzig

Jamie is our corporate Receptionist and Administrative Support. Jamie has been in the banking industry since 2005, with another local commercial bank and has gained extensive knowledge in business banking, new accounts, and sales. Jamie prides herself on providing all of our clients with excellent customer service, and is excited about this new challenge in her career in the administration department. Jamie is currently pursuing her business degree at a local community college. She enjoys dance, art, decorating, and hairdressing.
